HOW CAN I HELP?
We appreciate any time that you can offer from your busy day to assist us here at ZOE. If you want to volunteer your skills, talents, or simply a heart to help, we would love to hear from you. Many of our volunteer tasks are in the office, but there may be various projects that allow you to assist ZOE from your home. Whatever your skill or talent is, we could use your gifts. If distance does not permit you to volunteer at our Sourthern California ZOE office, there may be opportunities for you to work on projects from your home.
One of the best ways you can help is educating yourself more about the issue of trafficking then spreading the word about what we do as an anti-human trafficking organization. Follow us on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages as well as our YouTube channel to stay connected and find out what is happening at ZOE. There may be projects and events that you can be a part of. Another great place for updates is on our BLOG. Equipped with human trafficking information and ZOE announcements, you can share these blog updates with your friends and family to help us get the word out.
WHERE AND WHEN CAN I HELP?
Our office is located in Santa Clarita, California. Regular volunteer days are Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tasks are limited on occassion therefore, volunteers are informed via email when a project arises and is currently based on a as needed basis. Though each week varies, below are some tasks we have our volunteers assist us with at ZOE.
All of our mailings are done in our office. Some tasks include folding, stamping, and sealing various correspondence, such as newsletters and cards.
GREAT! HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and Request for Recommendation Form, SAVE IT AS A DIFFERENT FILE NAME, then email your completed form to Karen@gozoe.org. We will contact you once your form has been reviewed. Due to the nature of our work, there may be times when volunteers are given projects containing sensitive information and, therefore, we must adhere to a thorough screening process. Thank you and we hope to meet you one day soon.
