ZOE Attends 64th Annual CMTA Conference
The 64th Annual CMTA Conference was held on May 1st and 2nd at the Pasadena Convention Center. This particular conference is geared to train, empower, and equip Children’s Ministry leaders and volunteers in all areas. Many come from all over California to attend this conference in order to gather excellent tools to minister to our future generation. There are multiple breakout sessions during the 2-day event for attendees to choose from as well as an exhibit hall with various vendors from all over the U.S. This is an inspiring conference that brings together those who have a heart to minister to children.
ZOE has attended this conference four years in a row now. At this conference, we promote our Kids Helping Kids program, which is a great outreach tool that churches can use at various times of the year. Each year, we are honored to meet so many wonderful people and gain new interest in the program. We are also able to share the heart of ZOE, how ZOE is fighting human trafficking, and the many stories of children’s lives that are transformed because of Jesus! It is such a powerful testimony as to how a precious life can be changed because Jesus is introduced into their lives and because someone cared about the child. Miracles happen when these two things come together and collaborate.
It brings us great joy to see so many Children’s Ministry leaders and volunteers who care and are willing to invest in the next generation. Many give up their precious time week after week to invest in and share God’s love and word. Though the future may be uncertain, the seeds that are being planted now in the hearts of these children will one day reap and, when it does, get ready for exciting things to happen!
