Delivered… Many Smiles!

ZOE Christmas Project for DCFS Girls

This year, our focus for Christmas has been to bring joy to a child’s heart. That is exactly what we did here in the United States. Though Christmas is still a few days away, because of YOU, we were able to bring Christmas early to teenage girls who have been rescued from human trafficking here in Los Angeles County. You have made a difference in helping us change one story right here in our own backyard.

Last week, I took many gift cards that many of you purchased down to DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services) along with warm fuzzy socks, body lotions, shower gels, and pens with notebooks. I wish each of you could have received the smiles that came when I delivered all of these gifts. They said, “We don’t have anyone else who helps us the way ZOE does.” In addition to those items, we also gave them a $500 gift card to use toward a celebration party for the girls.

Your generosity and consistency (this is our third year doing the Christmas project) has made a huge impact on them. Once again, I took a stack of Christmas cards many of you wrote in at our annual ZOE Rescue Walk.  The messages you wrote were so encouraging, full of hope, and so much love. I can’t wait to hear the stories of how this made the girls feel!

It’s still not too late to give if you wish. I can’t wait to share more come the New Year about all we are doing here in Los Angeles because of you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! If you are interested in supporting ZOE’s work in Los Angeles, please email me or call me at 661-255-7963.

Grateful for you!
