Born to Fight Injustice

Fight Modern Day Slavery

When I first met Carol Hart (President and Co-Founder of ZOE International) over 30 years ago, we were both young and ready to tackle the world; Carol more so than me. She had a burning passion in her heart to make a difference in the lives of people being treated unjustly. That passion has not diminished in any way over the years; in fact it has intensified! For as long as I have known her, she has had an intense disdain for injustice–the injustices in our world today as well as the injustices in our history.

Carol often spoke of her frustration of not being around in the 18th and 19th century when slavery was prevalent in the U.S. Had she been, she certainly would have fought to end the slave trade. Had she been around in the 1930s and 1940s, she would have spent her energy working to end such atrocities as the holocaust. You can read more of her story here.

When she became aware of human trafficking and especially the trafficking of children, she knew that this was the fight she was born to wage. She was around and she had to do something! Her battle cry became, “This is my generation and this is my fight.” From this, our new program, My Gen My Fight, was born.

MyGenMyFight calls upon everyone alive on the earth today to join the fight to end human trafficking. No matter your age, 5 or 105, your generation is needed to enter the fight to combat the most heinous atrocity of our time, which is modern day slavery. Every generation can do something and MyGenMyFight provides tools for ordinary people to do something extraordinary by becoming warriors in this epic battle for justice and the freedom of slaves around the world.

Check out our website for how you can rally around the battle cry, This is MY GENERATION AND MY FIGHT!
