Hope Over Bondage

This past weekend, a young, talented and passionate group from the Chinese Baptist Church in Orange County hosted a benefit concert called “Hope Over Bondage” to spread awareness about human trafficking and raise funds for ZOE International.

The night was filled with great bands, an amazing duo of a saxophone and piano player, dance and soloists. The stage was beautifully draped with professional black curtains and a sparkly sign. We are always so inspired seeing young people do something to fight human trafficking. During the intermission, there were all kinds of treats and food for sale and they even had custom t-shirts with the event logo. During the concert, it was clear that this group of young freedom fighters is not only passionate about human trafficking, but also about sharing their love for God and for others. A young male preaching the gospel said “when we are talking about hope over bondage, we have to point to the ultimate hope, Jesus.”

Thank you to everyone that had a hand in this awesome event!
