Can you believe that our ZOE Rescue Walk is in just 75 days? I love this event for many reasons but the greatest reason is that on this day, we get to meet and see all of you who have supported our organization face to face! Some of you have supported us from the very beginning and some of you are brand new. Regardless of when you joined the fight to combat child trafficking, you are all passionate, doing your unique part to make a difference. Some of you drive hours and some bring your entire family just to be a part of our Walk. Some of you have even been Team Captains and formed a group every single year! What a humbling experience to join hands together with all of you; our supporters and our friends, to fight injustice!
This year's Rescue Walk will be on Saturday, November 5th, starting at LA Mission College and ending at El Cariso park in Sylmar, CA. Registration is just $20 (prices will increase to $25 after September 30th). Children 12 years and younger are free. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the college campus. This is a family-friendly event. We would love to see your children, the next generation, be a part of our event!
Last year, we had over 850 participants join us and raised over $90,000! (See pictures here) This year, our goal is to have 1,500 people and to raise $150,000! Can we do it? I know we can if we each do our part by sharing with our circle of friends and family. There are so many ways to communicate whether it be through email, social media, face to face or word of mouth. We can do this!
We would love to see you at our Walk! It would be an honor to be able to thank you in person for your love and support!
