Take a Tag!
by Karen Miyamoto
This year, ZOE decided to launch our very own Giving Tree! 15 churches, schools and businesses are currently taking part in this project. To date, we have raised over $1500 through this project. Just like other Giving Tree projects, participants are given tags to hang on their tree of choice and invite members in their church or employees to take a tag off the tree of a ZOE need and make a donation.
Some of our needs this year that are highlighted on the tags are funds for our Los Angeles home, our Child Rescue Center in Thailand and to fight child slavery. Being able to give donors the choice to take a tag that resonates with them is a really exciting opportunity!
We are praying that not only will donors be able to choose the area they would like to make an impact in but also spread the word about human trafficking.
We hope to incorporate our Giving Tree project allowing churches, businesses and schools to adopt ZOE during the holidays every year. So plan ahead! If you are interested in bringing ZOE’s Giving Tree to you, keep us on your calendar for 2018!
