We needed a new well since the current well did not have permit papers, due to how old it is. Our water design firm received three bids and we were happy the local company where our home will be built had the lowest quote. You don’t know how far they will have to dig before hitting water. I was hearing that we could have to drill as low as 1,200 ft. or as high as 500 ft. The cost difference was tremendous.
After I heard this, I sent an email to our prayer team and I started to pray, “Lord I pray in Jesus Name that Mr. Vic (our well guy), hits water at 500 ft. and not more than 700 ft., In Jesus Name. Amen!” Any time I thought about the well, several times a day, seven days a week, I would just pray this simple prayer. Then it was time to drill, Tuesday, December 5th. I stopped and prayed again the simple prayer above. By Wednesday, December 6th in the afternoon Mr. Vic hit water. Guess, at how many feet down? Yes, that is correct, 500 ft., and then another 200 ft. to plan for any drought that may occur, not more than 700 ft.
What?! God answered my exact prayer? John 15:7 (NIV) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Thank you Jesus that you hear our prayers and are faithful.
If you would like to join our prayer team please email Karen@gozoe.org and we will add you to the list. So many requests to be answered this year. It is the year of building!
Thank you for praying for us.
