A United Front Against Human Trafficking in Pennsylvania

Earlier this week, something significant happened in Pennsylvania—and it’s worth celebrating.

At Pennsylvania’s state capitol, leaders from both political parties came together to launch a new Anti-Human Trafficking Caucus—a group of decision-makers committed to work together, across differences, to fight human trafficking and protect survivors. In a time when division often makes headlines, this kind of unity is powerful.

We were honored to stand alongside fellow leaders and partners who are deeply committed to ending trafficking. As a partner in the state’s Human Trafficking Task Force, we work with many other organizations to help survivors rebuild their lives because we know how crucial it is to work together across communities.

This milestone matters because human trafficking is not a distant issue, it’s happening right here in the United States. During news coverage of the event, reporters highlighted that Carlisle, Pennsylvania is known globally as a hub for trafficking activity. It’s a difficult truth, but one that reminds us how important this work really is.

At the same time, there is hope.

The creation of this new caucus shows that awareness is growing and action is being taken. When leaders come together like this, it opens the door for stronger support for survivors and greater efforts to stop trafficking before it starts. And that’s where you come in. Your support makes this work possible.

It helps fund programs that protect vulnerable children, bring freedom to those in danger, and provide the long-term care survivors need to heal and move forward.

Moments like this are more than just announcements—they are signs of real progress. And together, we are part of that change.
