Justice Served, Hope Continues: A Story of Perseverance, Protection, and the Power of Your Support

This May, Jonathan Gonzalez-Reyes was found guilty of multiple counts of child sexual exploitation, including the production and distribution of child sexual abuse (CSAM) material. His co-defendant, Nanci Jasmin Castillo, pleaded guilty. The victim was just 13 years old.
The crimes were horrific. But through your prayers, your giving, and your belief in our mission, you helped bring light into that darkness.
Because of your support:
- ZOE provided restorative care and relational support for this girl in our therapeutic home
- Vital information was provided by ZOE to support the investigation and uncover a larger criminal network harming multiple victims
- Our team repeatedly rescued this vulnerable girl from dangerous locations across LA and Orange Counties in collaboration with law enforcement and social workers
- The survivor found safety and trust in ZOE’s care to meet with investigators and provide crucial testimony.
You were part of every step! You helped make justice possible!
At ZOE, we believe no act of love is wasted. Every prayer, every report, every rescue, it all matters. And because of your support, a child began to believe she was worthy of love again. That her life has meaning. That someone saw her.
