Jessica Dodd

In February 2007, Jessica moved to Chiang Mai to help start a children’s ministry at ZOE Children’s Homes. A move she thought would only be for six months has turned into a long-term position with ZOE. Prior to the big move, Jessica earned a certificate in Early Childhood Education and was a Pre-K teacher and after school counselor for five years before leaving to pursue her dream to be a children’s minister. In late 2006, Jessica graduated from Children’s Ministries Institute.

Jessica’s passion is to assist the Church and parents with raising their children. She is devoted to leading children and youth into an intimate and authentic relationship with God. She loves to teach children, train leaders and change lives!

Jessica’s desire is that every child experience God’s presence and His passionate love for them. She believes that we win when every child owns their faith in Jesus Christ and joins God on his mission to reach every man, woman, and child with the Gospel.

Jessica oversees staff and volunteers, conducts weekly services, creates programs and evangelistic outreaches to children and youth, and coordinates special events such as camps and short-term mission teams. She teaches at the ZOE Leadership Training school and conducts a variety of Children’s and Youth Ministry seminars to educate and empower others to effectively teach children the Word of God. Jessica also oversees ZOE’s Daycare program. This internal Daycare was established as a way to help ZOE’s female staff retain their employment at ZOE while keeping their young children close by. This Daycare is provided as an opt-in benefit for full time employees of ZOE.

In January of 2021, Jessica  got “the call” she had been waiting for… after 4 years she was able to pick up her son Justice. In late December of 2021, Justice’s adoption was finalized and is finally settled in his forever family. Justice is flourishing and Jessica enjoys watching Justice light up every time she says, “we’re going to ZOE!”
