Simpson & Lori-Ann Tsang Missionaries

In October of 2015 on a trip with family to Chiang Mai, Thailand, Lori-Ann and Simpson were unexpectedly introduced to the work of ZOE International. Soon God began troubling their hearts for children that were hurt and marginalized by trafficking. After a period of prayer, many restless nights, and confirmation, they took the plunge to become missionaries with ZOE in 2017. They are excited to be a part of ZOE’s mission to reach every person with the love of God and to rescue every child from human trafficking.

Lori-Ann and Simpson were both born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa—Lori-Ann with a Bachelor of Education in Secondary English and Simpson with a Bachelor of Business Administration. They first met while in high school at a Hawaii Youth for Christ event. They eventually volunteered with the youth ministry organization throughout their college and early professional years mentoring high school students. After marrying in 1998, they became part of the core group that launched The City Church of Honolulu where they fulfilled various roles in support and youth-related ministries. Simpson was later ordained as an elder. Lori-Ann and Simpson are blessed to be sent by City Church to serve with ZOE International.

At ZOE, Lori-Ann works on the communications team and provides support to our missionary and Thai leaders. Simpson serves alongside our Thai staff attached to ZOE’s rescue and prevention teams.

Prior to joining ZOE, Simpson was on the administrative team of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty, a leading real estate firm in Hawaii. For 14 years, he worked from the ground up and eventually became the principal broker for the company. Lori-Ann was a teacher with the Department of Education for 16 years then became a real estate sales professional for 6 years at the same company with Simpson.
