Ben & Kayte Musselman
Ben and Kayte Musselman have been serving with ZOE International in Thailand, working to fight child trafficking through prevention, rescue, and restoration. Their journey in missions began in 2004 when they met while serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). They married in 2005 and moved to Thailand that same year. During this time, Ben ministered in slum communities, building houses, church planting, and building relationships through friendship evangelism. Kayte worked in YWAM’s national office, supporting teams and leading the Discipleship Training School (DTS) outreaches in Thailand and Vietnam. It was during their early years in Thailand that their oldest daughter, Darci, was born.
In 2009, the Musselmans returned to the United States to grow their family, welcoming their second daughter, Azelle, the very same year. In 2011, they began an adoption journey, and in 2015, their twins, Jean and Jeanine then 3, officially joined the family.
Ben’s current role at ZOE Thailand is part of the restoration team, where he focuses on developing trauma-informed care training, supporting caregivers, and ensuring programs reflect best practices for restoration. Kayte homeschools their children and assists ZOE by working with short-term teams, helping to prepare and guide them as they serve. Their passion for missions has taken them to serve in many countries throughout SE Asia, China, Mongolia, and Russia, but their hearts have always been drawn to Thailand. Witnessing the impact of ZOE’s ministry firsthand in 2016 reignited their calling to combat the devastating effects of trafficking. Through their roles at ZOE, Ben and Kayte seek to share the hope and healing they’ve experienced in their own lives and to help others discover the beauty that can emerge from brokenness.
