Name: Kevin Quinter

Occupation: Detective with the Wyomissing Police Department and works with Homeland Security to fight human trafficking.

RAAM History: This is Kevin’s first RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

Kevin’s Reason to Ride: I have been working on the enforcement and investigation side of human trafficking in Pennsylvania for the past five years. Teaming up with ZOE allows me to get more involved on the restorative side, not just in Pennsylvania but worldwide. This is a demanding race, but it is way bigger than just a race. It is the chance to bring attention to something so devastating to so many young boys and girls.

Name: Craig Whiteford 

Age: 55

Hometown: York, Pennsylvania

Occupation: Leads a team of R&D scientists (development of infectious disease diagnostics)

RAAM History: This is Craig’s first RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

Craig’s Reason to Ride: I’m grateful for this amazing opportunity to be a part of the 8-man team for RAAM, to bring awareness to the ongoing tragedy of child trafficking, and to reach our ultimate goal of ending child trafficking worldwide. This synergistic opportunity combines my God-given talents in endurance racing with my Faith to live out His word, “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” -Micah 6:8 (ESV).

Name: Nate Eakin

Age: 40

Hometown: Lititz, Pennsylvania

Occupation: Sixth Grade Teacher (6th grade)

RAAM History: Nate was a crew member in 2019 and a cyclist in 2021 and 2023 with the ZOE team.

Nate’s Reason to Ride: Child trafficking should tap into every human heart. The more awareness we bring to this, the more donations we get, the more harm that can be prevented, the more kids that can be restored, and then more kids can come to Jesus. I’m joining this race to raise awareness and fight to end human trafficking because it’s a worthwhile cause that demands our attention and time, and I’m blessed to be a part of it.

Name: Merv Beiler 

Age: 46

Hometown: Strasburg, Pennsylvania

Occupation: Works as a project manager at his Father’s Pallet business. He also has a drive-thru coffee shop called Latte Love. 

RAAM History: This is Merv’s first RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

Merv’s Reason to Ride: When the opportunity came, I wanted to step up and do RAAM to support ZOE. I’ve been to third-world countries and seen some difficult things. I believe in ZOE and what they’re doing, and thankful I can participate.

Age: 41

Hometown: New Holland, Pennsylvania

Occupation: Chief Executive Officer at JM Lapp Plumbing and Heating

RAAM History: This is Matt’s third RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

Matt’s Reason to Ride: Riding in a race like this is a rare opportunity. Being able to use my competitiveness and drive in this race and also bringing awareness to ZOE and the work that they’re doing is why I’m riding.

Occupation: Regional President for a bank in Lancaster, PA.

RAAM History: This is Tom’s first RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

Tom’s Reason to Ride: I want to raise awareness about what is going on with human trafficking and engage others to get involved to end it. Human trafficking is not something that’s going away if you choose to ignore it. It’s right here and happening to our kids on social media and in our communities. If we can stop that, we are joining in the prevention work.

Occupation: Construction business owner  

RAAM History: This is John’s first RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

John’s Reason to Ride: I am excited to race in RAAM and represent ZOE with my time and effort to protect children from child trafficking. Joining this fight and seeing what’s happening with human trafficking worldwide touches my heart, especially because I have little girls of my own.

Hometown: Lives in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Lititz, Pennsylvania 

Occupation: Vice President of Operations (West) at Encompass Services 

RAAM History: This is Jeff’s first RAAM Race with the ZOE team.

Jeff’s Reason to Ride: Being an avid cyclist devoted to my family and community, riding for Team ZOE in RAAM is an amazing opportunity for me to support a cause that is an unthinkable threat to our youth. Through my growth in cycling, I have aspired to use the skill that has made me a better person for a cause bigger than myself.
